Scheduler Specialist (Full-Time, Honolulu)

Location: Honolulu
Job Summary:
The Scheduler Specialist is responsible for day to day scheduling of ‘Ohana Conferences, Youth Circles, and Wrap Meetings. The Scheduler Specialist collaborates with all departments and administrative staff to ensure scheduling is completed with quality, accuracy and in an efficient manner. Responsible for trouble shooting logistics and balancing staff work schedule with the approval of the appropriate managers and/or supervisors. Deviations from the norm are cleared by the mangers and/or supervisors. Maintain an accurate and current conference room reservations within the organization. Responsible for securing and updating the list of possible conference and/or meeting locations. Maintain an accurate and current full and part-time staff database and calendar. Monitor and update ‘Ohana Conference Report, including reviews, writing loads, evaluations and amendments. Responsible for the quality assurance and timeliness of mail outs.

Minimum Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning and a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training. Individual with experience working with families whose children have been harmed or threatened with harm and in facilitation and/or mediation, preferred. Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement, be self-directed and work with minimal supervision. Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative workplace with colleagues of diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines. Committed to quality and performance improvement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in person and on the phone are required for this position. Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are required. Successful criminal and child abuse and neglect background clearance as required by state regulations for those who work with children and families in the Child Welfare System.
